Wellness Chef Eric Stein combines expertise in culinary arts and nutrition education with a holistic approach to leading a healthy lifestyle and helping you find the flavorful diet that works best for you. Chef Stein applies a unique culinary style based on the use of global flavors, seasonal ingredients, and nutrient rich foods to spread the awareness that food can be both delicious and nourishing.

With a passion for emerging trends in flavor, global cuisines, culinary technology and innovation, Chef Eric Stein relies on foundational cooking principles paired with modern techniques and cutting-edge research to help you develop flavorful and nourishing menus and eating habits that work best for you.

Chef Eric possesses a strong entrepreneurial drive resulting in the start-up a handful of his own brands, as well as working with a variety of food businesses to bring new culinary products and restaurants from concept to market. An alumnus of Johnson & Wales University, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Nutrition. He additionally holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Education from Eastern Illinois University. His professional affiliations include credentialing as a Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, a Certified Culinary Educator (CCE) through the American Culinary Federation, and The Research Chef Association where he is two time national winner of their professional culinology competition. He is the author of Culinary Nutrition; Principles and Applications, a textbook widely used in vocational and collegiate programs in culinary arts, nutrition, and sports kinesiology. In his lifelong pursuit for continuous professional growth, he is currently aspiring to gain the credential of Certified Master Chef (CMC), the highest level of certification for professional chefs in the USA.

"Think. Live. Dream. Food." This mantra is a strong reflection of who I am personally, and professionally signifies my dedication to the craft of cooking. My world revolves around food. It is always on my mind and I am constantly looking at trends in food and nutrition, discovering new cuisines, and trying new restaurants. As a Chef, food is my livelihood. In addition to nourishment, it is also my source of inspiration. I try to look at food from a global perspective, in terms of flavor, eating habits, and cooking techniques. I have been fortunate to work across many areas of the food service industry, and I dream daily about the impact food plays in our lives and how I can cook, create, and play with food in fun and delicious new ways. There is a huge world of food out there and I want to discover it with you.
